The purpose of the Craft Studio is to allow children and adults to participate in constructive craft activities. By providing daily, weekend and evening classes with training opportunities, The Craft Studio aims to develop the learners to improve their various levels of craft skills, knowledge and experience.

The friendly groups cater for learners at all levels of expertise and personal, professional support is given throughout all the programmes. The aim is to develop a creative interest through the use of a range of teaching styles, and estimate the scale of help needed with a regular review of progress.

The Craft Studio is committed to the active promotion of and implementation of equal opportunities. It is opposed to discrimination and states that no person should be unfairly prevented or discouraged from participating in any of the training events, therefore each individual is given help to identify their individual learning needs.

By outlining the skills to be learned and understanding what children like to do to help them achieve, The Craft Studio offers the best variety of interactive art and craft workshops designed exclusively for children. Every child will participate in the project and take home their own personal craft creation.

The Craft Studio is well resourced with varied art and craft materials suitable for use by learners of all ages. There is also a comprehensive range of reading material available for their use.

To increase participation in craft activities The Craft Studio has designed exclusive art and craft workshops and in the future will provide family fun days.
